Compton, California (May 16, 2018) – Greg Adler and the #10 Team 4 Wheel Parts will be clashing with the world’s best off-road drivers in the main event of this weekend’s second and third rounds of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing competition as the series heads south of the border to Ensenada, Baja California Sur, Mexico. While the scenic backdrop of Ensenada Bay will provide a picturesque setting for what is expected to be a standing-room-only crowd, the purpose-built course constructed on the grounds of the stunning Estero Beach Resort promises to provide adrenalin driven action as Adler and his cohorts look to establish a foothold on the Pro4 division standings. For 2018, the series has introduced a new scheduling format that combines single day events with double-header weekends throughout the season and while Adler left Round 1 in Chandler, Arizona without a trophy, the dual May 19-20 races in Ensenada provide him an ideal opportunity to return to the podium.

“There is a long and storied history of off-road racing in Baja and the fans here are some of the most passionate anywhere. From the time we arrive until we pack up and head home, there is an energy at Estero Beach that is unlike anywhere else we race,” said Adler. “Last year we nailed the setup and with a combination of a strong qualifying effort and fast lap times throughout the race, we came home with a hard-fought second-place finish. After our disappointing weekend in Arizona, it’s time to hit the reset button and see if we can home away from Baja with some hardware.”

Returning to Estero Beach for the third consecutive year, Lucas Oil short course off road racing offers an inviting, open paddock area along with an intense, high-flying, closed course format. This formula now attracts countless fans, normally accustomed to merely catching glimpses of vehicles skipping across the wide open deserts of Baja, who are treated to an up-close-and-personal view of their off-road heroes as they soar door-to-door on the mile long circuit.

“Racing in Baja has been in my blood for as long as I can remember,” said Adler. “I’ve had the opportunity to race here and cross the finish line in some of the most well-known off-road races in the world. Coming here with the Lucas Off-Road Racing Series, we have the opportunity to engage with the fans and really share in their passion for off-road racing. Baja is special and we’re excited to be a part of this fantastic event.”

In addition to this weekend’s event in Ensenada, MX, the series will also visit Wheatland, MO., Reno, NV., Salt Lake City, UT., and San Bernardino, CA. before returning to Chandler, Arizona for the season finale and the Lucas Oil Challenge Cup.

For fans that won’t be at Estero Beach to catch the action live, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series is broadcast on CBS, CBS Sports Network, MavTV.and LucasOilRacing.TV.
